ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Brahms Young Musician Competition is an international online competition dedicated to supporting and recognising talented musicians from around the world.
Open to performers, conductors and composers of all nationalities, the competition provides participants with an opportunity to present their musical achievements and receive recognition from an international jury.
The competition welcomes applications in piano, strings, voice, winds, chamber music, conducting and composition. Participants compete in age-appropriate categories, allowing musicians at different stages of their development to demonstrate their individual artistry and musical potential.

Our mission is to encourage artistic development, celebrate musical excellence and provide young musicians with an accessible international platform on which their work can be heard and recognised.
COMPETITION FORMAT
The competition is conducted entirely online and consists of a Preliminary Round and a Final Round. Candidates may participate from any country by submitting their application and performance materials online.
